Love is a Battlefield…Business is War

According to PRSA’s new approved definition, “Public relations is a strategic communication process that builds mutually beneficial relationships between organizations and their publics.” I think it’s pretty good and Edward Bernays and Ivy Lee would certainly approve, but feels a tad academic for my taste. I say it like this, “Organizations with effective PR programs win in the marketplace over organizations that lack effective PR.” Love may be a battlefield, but business is flat out war. And may the best brand win. 🙂
